Miss Bertha Kamer, formerly of this city, late of Chicago, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Lewis Zentner, 829 North Second street, last evening at 10:05. Death was due to a complication of diseases, from which the deceased had been ailing for some time. For the past several years she had made her home with W. C. Clow of Chicago, but has been at the home of her sister, Mrs. Zentner since July, when she was taken sick.
Bertha Kamer was born in Lyons, September 10, 1871, and lived here for a while and later made her home in Chicago up until about the time of her death. She was forty-six years old at the time of her death. She is well known in Lyons and Clinton, where she had made a score of friends. Her bright and sunny disposition and winning ways have made many friends for her wherever she has gone and although she had been quite seriously ill of late her death will come as a shock to her many friends.
She is survived by three brothers, Chas. Albert and Chief Ed Kamer all of this city and one sister, Mrs. Lewis Zentner.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon from the home of her sister, Mrs. Lewis Zentner, 829 North Second street, the Rev. J. S. Leamer officiating.

The funeral of the late Miss Bertha Kamer will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Lewis Zentner home on North Second street. Rev. J. S. Leamer, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church, will officiate.

The funeral of the late Bertha Kamer was held Saturday afternoon at the Lewis Zentner home on North Second street at 2 o'clock, the Rev. J. S. Leamer officiating. Ernest Work and Mr. Andrews sang "The Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and other selections. The pall bearers were the nephews, Carl Mayer, Howard Mayer, Earl Mayer, Herbert Neesley, Harry Kamer and Howard Ronner. Interment was in Oakland cemetery.
