page 6Mrs. Johanna Krause, wife of Ferdinand Krause of 507 Elm street, passed away at 2 o'clock this morning at her home, after an illness of several months, due to dropsy.
The deceased, nee Johanna Schacht, was born in Germany 73 years ago and came to America in her youth. She had been a resident of this city for thirty years. Many friends in Clinton heard with regret today of her demise.
Surviving the deceased are her husband and one brother William Schacht of this city.
