February 7, 1939 - November 2, 2004
David C. Mohr, 65, of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas.
Mr. Mohr was born on February 7, 1939 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Albert and Margaret (Sleeper) Mohr. He was united in marriage to Barbara Franco on September 19, 1964 in Mount Vernon, New York. He worked as an employment supervisor for Caterpillar in Mount Joy, Iowa for twenty-three years before retiring. He moved with his wife, Barbara, to Cherokee Village in 1997 from DeWitt, Iowa. He was a member of the Elks Lodge; the senior bowling league; and was an avid fisherman and lover of football. Mr. Mohr was a member of Spring River Presbyterian Church in Hardy, Arkansas, where had served as a member of the Session.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home; two sons, Donald Mohr of Molene [sic], Illinois and David Mohr of Park-view [sic], Iowa; one brother, Eric Mohr of Youngtown, Arizona; and three grandchildren, Hope Katherine Mohr, and Skylar and Hunter Brooks.
A visitation will be held Friday, November 5, 2004 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, November 6, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spring River Presbyterian Church with Rev. Stan Jagow officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials m ity [sic] be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Spring River Presbyterian Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland, Arkansas.
