Mohr funeral is Monday
Andover -- Otto J. Mohr, 98, of Andover, died Friday at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehab Center, Clinton.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church, Andover, with pastor Judy Wolf officiating. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Miller-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Preston, is handling the arrangements.
He was born June 29, 1906, in Elk River Township, Clinton County, to Chris and Matilda Wohlenberg Mohr. He married Florence Henningsen on Aug. 31, 1927, in Clinton.
He lived on and farmed the family farm until 1954 when he went to work at Teeds Grove Bank in Sabula.
He was a founding member of Faith Lutheran Church, Andover.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Dorothy (Leland) Wilcke of Andover and Marilyn (Emmett) Matthiesen of Teeds Grove; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son.
