Huber service is set
DeWitt -- Robert Huber, 87, of DeWitt, died Saturday at his home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Bill Huff will be officiating. Interment will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Rob Huber, Mike and Brian Flint and Pat, Dan, Sean and Larry Hanrahan.
He was born Oct. 5, 1917, to Edward and Isiebell Dusenberry Huber. He married Lola Mae Davis on Sept. 14, 1940, in Clinton. She died in 1985. He then married Betty Owens Johnson on May 19, 1990 at Hillcreast Baptist Church, Davenport. The couple retired to DeWitt in 1994. She died in 2004.
He farmed northeast of DeWitt. He and his first wife moved to Branson, Mo., in 1969 where they owned and operated a mobile home park and camp ground for several years until returning to the DeWitt area in 1973. He then worked as a custodian with the Central DeWitt School District.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, DeWitt.
Survivors include five children, Phyllis Hanrahan of Delmar, Mrs. Laura (Tom) Flint of Clinton, Mrs. Karen (Leon) Thiessen of Clever, Mo., John (Shirley) Huber of Fulton, Ill., and Tim (Cathy) Huber of Reed Springs, Mo.; one stepson, Owen Johnson; four stepdaughters, Sandra Von Sprecken, Gail Jimenez, Pam Miller and Denise Johnson; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many stepgrandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Lawrence of DeWitt and Jessie Mussmann of Miles.
Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice or First Baptist Church, DeWitt.

He was preceded in death by his two wives, parents, one granddaughter, three brothers and two sisters.
