Wiersema service is set
Camanche -- Virginia L. "Ginny" Wiersema, 67, of Camanche, died Sunday at her home.
Memorial services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton, with the Rev. Steven Hayes of Beacon of Hope Hospice officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the service time. A luncheon will follow the services at the Litehouse in Camanche.
She was born Dec. 16, 1937, in Clinton to Leroy and Elfreda Johansen Warner. She married Wayne Wiersema on June 14, 1981, in Camanche.
She graduated from high school in Tupelo, Miss.
She was employed with the Clinton Country Club.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Terry L. Stevens of Clinton, Kenneth Dale (Theresa) Stevens of Denver, Colo., and Scott A. (Melissa) Gregory of Clinton; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Christy (Craig) Hagermier of DeKalb, Ill.; one stepson, Troy (Cinda) Wiersema of Fulton, Ill; eight grandchildren; and one sister, Linda Stewart of Meridian, Miss.
A memorial fund has been established by the family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son and one brother.
