Word was received here that Sorn Peterson, formerly of this city, died at 5:15 o'clock this morning in Chicago, where he lived with his son, C. C. Peterson. The body will be brought here during the day and burial will be made Friday. Further funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Funeral services for the late Sorn Peterson were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Bragonier & Behr undertaking parlors. The Rev. P. F. Gotke of the Danish Lutheran church officiated and burial was made at Oakland cemetery.

The funeral was in charge of the Danish society, the following members acting as pall-bearers: Paul Grumstrop, Nis Grumstrop, Hans Hardvigsen, J. G. Jensen, Ebbe Jedhesen and Thomas Humelgard.
