Lost Nation, Ia., Aug. 13--Mrs. John Buck, an aged resident of Lost Nation, passed away about 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Pel Atherton, in Cedar Rapids. She had been failing in health for the last six months, and was taken to Cedar Rapids last week. She was about 70 years of age.

Three children survive her, two daughters, Mrs. Atherton and Mrs. Wehry, of Cedar Rapids, and a son, John Buck, of Elyria, O.

The funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at Union church here.
