Mrs. Margaret Steenfatt died Sunday evening at 11:10 o'clock at her home, 504 Hickory street, following a paralytic stroke.

The deceased was born July 3, 1854 in Germany. She came to America in the year 1865 with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Greve. On Nov. 29, 1872 she was united in marriage to Dietrick Steenfatt. Five children blessed this union. One son preceded her Oct. 3, 1908.

Surviving to mourn her loss are the husband, two sons, Carl of Green Island and John at home, two daughters, Mrs. William Stuedemann of Clinton, and Mrs. Walter Stuedeman of Lyons; two sisters, Mrs. Claus Petersen of this city and Mrs. Olof Remien of Atlantic, Ia., one brother, Jurgen Greve of Swiftfield, Tex. and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late home on Hickory street. Burial will be made in Springfield cemetery.

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Margaret Steenfatt were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the family home, 504 Hickory street. Francis V. Hall was in charge of the services and burial was made in Springdale. The pallbearers were: John Schranwder, Robert Hansen, J. Hass, Philip Holm, Chris Hansen and John Nissen.

From out of the city attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Olof Remien, Atlantic, Ia.; Charles Thebe and daughter, Bertha of Sabula, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Steenfatt, Green Island.
