Mrs. William O'Connell, aged 65 years, died this morning at her home, 624 Sixth avenue.

The deceased, nee Bridget Scanlan was born in Boston, Mass., in 1852. She was married in Clinton to Wm. O'Connell. Mrs. O'Connell was a woman of many friends, living in this city the greater portion of her life. Home loving, she found every enjoyment in her home and with friends. Death was the result of a complication of diseases resulting from a nervous breakdown two years ago.

Surviving to mourn her death are her husband, a daughter, Florence, one sister, Mrs. Nellie Scanlan, one nephew, John O'Connor.

The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's church, the Rev. Mons. E. J. McLaughlin to officiate. Burial will be made in St. Mary's cemetery.
