Funeral services for Harry Eugene Upton were held this afternoon from the Clark Undertaking parlors. The Rev. F. H. Burrell of the Episcopal rectory officiated and burial was made in Springdale cemetery. The pallbearers were: Ray Olnoy, Ernest Smith, George Murphy, Peter Diersen, William Shiebly, and George Beilef.

Deceased was born in Clinton, Ia., in 186?. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ealvin Upton, old residents of this city. Four years ago he removed to Bennett, Ia., where he was employed in mason work. He was a member of the Eagle lodge of Joliet, Ill. Death occurred Sunday evening at 6:40 o'clock in Bennett, Ia.

Surviving to mourn his death are the wife, a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Lee, Davenport, Ia., a brother, George B. Upton, Wickenburg, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Stebbins, Maricopa, Cal.; and Mrs. George B. Dunlap, Los Angeles, Calif.; also an uncle, Martin Upton, a former mayor of Clinton.
