Mrs. Lavona Abbott who died Thursday morning at 11:20 o'clock, was born Nov. 10, 1828. She came to Clinton with her parents in 1864, and has been a resident of this city since. The deceased was united in marriage to Louis L. Abbott of this city 58 years ago, five children being born to this union.

Surviving to mourn her death are three sons, George of Denver, Colo.; Harvey of Goldfield, Colo.; DeLancy of Clinton, and two daughters, Mrs. Mary DeWitt and Mrs. Hattie Lyons of this city.

The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home of her son, 510 Seventh avenue. The Rev. F. H. Burrell of St. John's Episcopal church will officiate and burial will be made at Springdale cemetery.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Lavena Abbott was held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home of her son De Lancy Abbott, 510 Seventh avenue. The Rev. F. H. Burrell of the Episcopal Rectory officiated and burial was made in Springdale cemetery. Pall bearers for the deceased were members of the G.A.R. post.
