The author of "Twenty Years Ago" passed away at Wheatland. A. J. Gault, one of Clinton county's highly respected citizens, died at the age of 84 years and 4 months at his home night before last of infirmities of old age. Funeral will be held this afternoon at 1:30. His aged wife and son, Andrew W. Gault editor of the Calamus Record, survive him. A. J. Gault was for many years, and up to a year ago, editor of The Wheatland Spectator. He was a write and poet of rare ability and produced many beautiful poems, the most prominent one being the one entitled "Twenty Years Ago" which is a splendid literary production.
