Edward Leonard died suddenly at 6 o'clock last night at his home about three miles north of DeWitt. He was taken ill at the supper table and passed away of heart trouble before the arrival of Dr. Goodall, who had been summoned.

Deceased was about sixty-two years old, unmarried, and is survived by two brothers, Thomas and James, and two sisters, Clara and Celia, all of Davenport.

The remains were taken to Davenport this morning, where services will be held Thursday morning at St. Anthony's church, followed by interment at St. Margaret's cemetery.
