Mrs. Wm. Nickels died at Davenport last Saturday. Her remains were brought to Wheatland Tuesday, and funeral occurred at that place yesterday from the house of Juergen Lohann. Mr. and Mrs. Nickels moved from Wheatland to Davenport about three years ago. They have many acquaintance in and near Lowden, especially Mr. Nickels, as he was secretary for many years of the Wheatland German Mutual Insurance company. All join in extending sympathy to Mr. Nickels in his bereavement.
