Word was received here Friday of the death of Charles Cleveland Lund, 15 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lund, formerly of this city, but now residing at Elgin, Ill.

Charles Lund, Jr., was born in Chicago, Nov. 22, 1899, and frequently visited relatives in this city. He leaves besides his parents one sister, Dorothy, at home, and one brother, John, at Champaign, Ill.

Death was due to Bright's disease, from which the child suffered since having typhoid fever four years ago, a sister having succumbed to typhoid at that time.

The body will arrive here Monday morning at 11:45 and the funeral will be held Monday afternoon with interment in Oakland cemetery.

The funeral of the late Charles Cleveland Lund Jr., was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Justus Lund residence on North Sixth street. The remains, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lund, Sr., Mr. Diehr and Rev. James Johnson, of Elgin, and Fred Lund of Chicago, arrived in the city yesterday morning at 11:45 o'clock. A short service was held at the Grace church at 2 o'clock by Rev. Johnson and burial was made in Oakland cemetery. The pall bearers were Byron Pinney, Millard Thompson, William Scott and Arnold Rockrohr. The floral offerings were many and beautiful.
