Mrs. Julia Larkin, age 87 years, passed away early this morning at the home of her grandson, James W. Campbell with whom she had been making her home. The final illness was of about one week's duration, although Mrs. Larkin had been ailing for about a year.

Julia Larkin was born May 7, 1827, in Ireland and later came to this country where she was married to W. T. Larkin at Boston, Mass., and following that came west. She leaves two children, Mrs. Lizzie Doran of this city and W. T. Larkin of Polo, Ill., besides two grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Irenaeus church with interment in Calvary cemetery. Friends are asked to kindly omit flowers.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Julia Larkin was held from the home of her grandson, J. W. Campbell on North Sixth street this morning with services at St. Irenaeus' church at 9 o'clock. Interment was in Calvary cemetery.

The pall bearers were: T. J. Hudson, John Dever, M. K. Madden, James McQuillan, John Neuhaus and James Doran.

Those from out of town who attended the funeral were John and William Larkin Jr., of Polo, Ill., and Dan Larkin of Fulton.
