Frederick Warren Moseley of this city passed away in his sleep at an early hour this morning at his home at 427 Fourth avenue.
Mr. Moseley was born Dec. 12, 1836, in Washington county, New York, of an old New England family. He was the son of Andrew and Abrigal Moseley. On June 11, 1863 Mr. Moseley was married to Altha L. Barbar. The deceased first engaged in business at Poultney, Vermont, manufacturing dairy apparatus, being one of the early producers in this line of manufacture. He came to Clinton in 1885 and had been actively engaged in business here until 1907 when he retired.
Mr. Moseley was very active, both mentally and physically and very enthusiastic in his search for recreation and pastime. Even in his advanced age he showed remarkable interest in his garden which he cultivated and cared for in the rear of his home. He had seldom been ill during his life and death is attributed to old age.
Those who survive him are his wife and three of his five children, Mrs. J. J. Pritchard, C. A. Moseley of this city and E. W. Moseley of Minneapolis.
Funeral arrangements have as yet not been completed, pending the arrival of the son for Minneapolis.
