Bahne Lueck, 78 years old, died Thursday night at 11 o'clock at his home, 250 Harrison street, after an illness with heart troubles for more than a year.
Mr. Lueck was born in Germany June 8, 1839, and came to America in 1870. He lived for many years on a farm, and in 1900 retired and came to live.
Left to mourn his death are his wife and five children. They are Otto, Edward and Bahne, Jr., Clinton; Mrs. William Healless, Mason City, Ill., and Mrs. William Siton, DeWitt.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at the house, in charge of the Rev. Hugo Grimm of Lyons.

The funeral of Bahne Lueck was held Sunday afternoon at the home, 260 Harrison street in charge of the Rev. Hugo Grimm of Lyons. Burial was made at Springdale cemetery, members of the German society, of which Mr. Leuck was an old and honored member, acted as pall bearers.
Mrs. William Healless of Mason City, and Mrs. William Siton of DeWitt, both daughters, attended the funeral from out of the city.
