Mrs. Anna Niebuhr nee Thompson, died at her home, 508 North Eighth street at 8:30 o'clock this morning after a lingering illness.

The deceased was born May 22, 1867 in Meldorf, Holstein, Germany. In 1885 she came to Lyons where she has lived ever since. On June 3rd, 1887 she was united in marriage to William Neibuhr. Ten children were born to this union five dying in infancy. She has been ill several years and death was due to heart trouble and dropsy. She was aged 49 years, 11 months and 26 days.

Surviving the deceased is her husband three sons, Emil, William Jr. and Herman and two daughters, Mrs. Eliza Taufman and Miss Marine Niebuhr, two grand children all living in Lyons, also two brothers, Herman Thompson of Peru, Iowa, and William Thompson of Rock Island, Ill.

The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon with short services at 1:30 o'clock at her late home and the funeral sermon preached at St. John's Lutheran church by Rev. Hugo Grimm. Interment will be made in Oakdale cemetery.

On Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock the funeral of Mrs. Anna Niebuhr will be held with short services at the home at that hour with Rev. Hugo Grimm officiating.

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Anna Niebuhr will be held on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home, with Rev. Hugo Grimm of St. John's Lutheran church officiating.

Burial is to be made in Oakland cemetery.
