Mrs. Henry A. Warner, 64 years old, died at 1 o'clock this morning at her home, 333 Oak street, as the result of heart trouble.
She has been seriously ill since the tenth of February, but within the last two weeks she had been making rapid progress toward recovery. Her sudden death comes as a great shock to the family, and to her friends. Her entire life was wrapped up in her home and children, who will miss her greatly.
Mary Ann Richards was born in Frankfort, New York, November 18, 1853. She was married December 27, 1872, to Henry Albert Warner, who preceded her in death five months ago.
In 1881 Mr. and Mrs. Warner came with their family to Sterling, and three months later moved to Clinton, where she has lived since that time.
Mrs. Warner was the mother of nine children, three of whom passed away in childhood. Those left are Mrs. F. A. Gould, Chicago; Lora A., Terre Haute, Ind.; Girvan DeVere, Neenah, Wis.; Curtis H., Clinton; Emily and Zatta, at home. One brother, Ben F. Richards, also survives, and five grandchildren, George, Earl, Gladys, Lorraine and Jack.
The funeral arrangements were not made today.

Mrs. Gould of Chicago is in the city. A son is expected tonight from Neenah, Wis.

Mrs. Henry A. Warner was laid to rest in Springdale cemetery Sunday afternoon beside her husband, who died five months ago. The funeral was held at the home on Oak street at 2:30, in charge of the Rev. Dr. Locke of the First M.E. church.
Acting pallbearers were: George Paulson, Lewis Westphal, John Donnelly, Will Zimmer, Will Andrews, and Charles Schumacher.
Three special musical numbers were furnished by the Methodist quartet. They sang "Rock of Ages," "Face to Face" and "Saved by Grace."
Attending the funeral from out of the city were: Mr. and Mrs. Girvan Warner, Neenah, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Gould, Chicago, Mrs. Earl Williams and daughter Elaine, Mt. Morris, Ill.
