Mrs. Ed Burbach died at Agatha hospital Thursday night at 10:10 o'clock following a complication of ailments after an operation. She has been sick two weeks.

Mrs. Burbach was the daughter of Mrs. Mary Schumacher. She was born in Germany August 18, 1874, and came with her parents to Clinton in 1882. August 19, 1898 she was united in marriage with Ed Burbach of Sterling, and they made their home at 326 Hickory street.

Left with the mother and husband to mourn the death of the young woman are four sisters and one brother. They are Mrs. Theodore Neesley, Mrs. Julius Stoecks, Mrs. J. Connors, Mrs. Ray Burlingame and Carl Schumacher, all of Clinton.

The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home and from there to the German Lutheran church, where the Rev. A. H. Lutz will officiate. Burial will be made at Springdale cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ed Burbach, were held Sunday afternoon at the German Zion Lutheran church. The pastor, the Rev. A. H. Lutz, officiated.

Burial was made at Springdale cemetery. The following acted as pallbearers: John Yaeger, W. Judd, P. Christiansen, Theodore Zerrien, Joe Cosman and Henry Hegge.

Friends and relatives from out of the city who attended the requiem service are: Mr. and Mrs. Greevay, Rock Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Burbach, Sterling, Mrs. Osterman, Pekin, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brockmann, Wayneport, Ind.
