The body of Martha M. Hansen, wife of Lorenz J. Hansen, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, formerly of this city, arrived at 5:30 last evening and were taken to the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hans Greve, 513 Eighteenth avenue.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3d, at 1 o'clock p.m. at St. Paul's English Lutheran church, the Rev. J. O. Simon of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, officiating, assisted by Rev. J. S. Leamer, of this city. The funeral cortege will leave the home at about 1 o'clock, with services at the church at 1:30 and interment at Springdale cemetery.
Martha Magdalena, beloved wife of L. T. Hansen, was born in Clinton, Iowa, Sept. 27, 1880. Her maiden name was Martha Magdalena Greve. She was married June 6, 1900 to Lorenz J. Hansen, of Charlotte, Iowa, who later moved to Clinton and became secretary of Greve, Hansen & Co., engaged in the manufacture of prepared kindling wood. The corporation later was dissolved and Mr. and Mrs. Hansen moved to Watertown, S.D. where they spent several years on a farm. From there they moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where her husband now holds a position as traveling representative with the Disbrow Sash and Door Co. of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Mrs. Hansen passed away at Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on February 28th, 1917 after an illness of but a few days' duration.
Mr. and Mrs. Hansen were charter members of St. Paul's English Lutheran church when it was organized in this city and had obtained letters of transfer to the First English Lutheran church of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was a member of the Fraternal Aid Union of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Simple funeral rites were solemnized at the chapel of the Wymer Undertaking parlors at Cedar Rapids, Thursday, March 1st, Rev. J. O. Simon officiating.
Mrs. Hansen is survived by her husband, her parents, one brother, John Greve and five sisters, Mrs. John O'Brien, Mrs. Henry Meyers and Miss Clara Greve, of Clinton, Mrs. George Trager of Owosso, Mich. and Mrs. Pauline J. Storm of Claremont, Minn.
Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Hansen of Almira, Ark., and Mrs. Ed Airhart and Miss Lena Wiem of Boone, Ia., will come to attend the funeral.

Mrs. L. J. Hansen was laid to rest Saturday afternoon in Springdale cemetery after funeral services at St. Paul's Lutheran church. The Rev. J. O. Simon of Cedar Rapids, officiated, assisted by the Rev. J. S. Leamer of the Clinton church.
Those who acted as pallbearers are Will Volkmann, Peter Matzen, Clark Robinson, Lou Shriner, Mr. Juhl and Art Jensen.
Attending the funeral from out of the city were Mr. and Mrs. George Trager, Owosso, Mich.; Mrs. H. L. Hansen, Almyra, Ark., Miss Hattie Storm, Miss Lena Storm, Fred Mangler and daughter Viola, Preston; Mrs. Ed Airhart and Miss Lena Wiem, Boone.
