Mrs. M. G. Schafer of this city mourns the loss of her three year old daughter, Dorothy Winifred Schafer, who died this morning at Agatha hospital, after a short illness. The deceased was born Nov. 25, 1914, and is survived by her mother.

Burial will be made on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Oakland cemetery. Rev. McAulay will officiate at a short service at the home before going to the cemetery.

The funeral services for the late Dorothy Winifred Schaffer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Schaffer, were held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Gerhardt home, 701 North Fourth street with Rev. N. A. McAualy in charge of the service. Mildred Liston, Florence Ploog, Edna Ploog and Lillian Frederichs acted as pallbearers and burial was made in Oakland cemetery.

John Schmalfeldt and Mrs. Charles Schmalfeldt of Marshalltown, Mrs. Agnes Galusha of Albany, Mrs. Schaffer and Mrs. Swanson of Morrison, were among the persons from out of town to attend the funeral.
