William, the seven-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Pat Gaughan, 319 Sixteenth avenue, died at 7 o'clock last night in convulsions. The little boy had been ill with scarlet fever and was convalescing when he was suddenly taken seriously ill a day or two ago, and death followed.

Burial was made this afternoon at Springdale cemetery.

He leaves besides his parents, two sisters and a brother.

The funeral of William Gaughan, 7 year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Gaughan, which was announced for Wednesday afternoon was delayed until Thursday on account of the condition of the ground.

Burial was made at Springdale cemetery.
