Mrs. Sarah Davis, mother of J. E. Davis, 517 Melrose court, died Saturday night at 10:30 o'clock at her home in Mt. Auburn, Iowa, according to word received by the family here from Mr. Davis who was with his mother when the end came. Mrs. Davis left Monday for Mount Auburn to attend the funeral.

Mrs. Sarah Davis had been a frequent visitor in Clinton at the home of her son, and had many friends here.
