Maquoketa, Iowa, Jan. 26--Mrs. Mary E. Hudson, aged 51, a former highly esteemed citizen of near Delmar, departed this life on Wednesday evening at 10 o'clock in Mercy hospital, Dubuque.

She leaves a husband, son and daughter, William and Mary at Rock Valley, Iowa, to mourn her loss besides 5 ***Jas McGinn, John and William of Delmar and vicinity, Frank of Chicago and Daniel on the home farm near Delmar and Mrs. Margaret Keegan of Rock Valley, Iowa.

The remains arrived at Delmar Thursday at 3 p.m.

The funeral will be held at St. Patrick's church, Delmar, Saturday at 9 a.m.

Interment at Petersville.
