page 6Mrs. Anna Howard died at her home, 334 Fifteenth avenue, Friday evening at 5 o'clock after an illness of several weeks with pneumonia.
She has been a resident of Clinton more than 50 years coming to Clinton from the old country, where she was born December 24, 1855.
The funeral was held this morning at St. Mary's church.
Four sons one daughter, two sisters and one brother are left to mourn her death. The children are Richard and Charles at home, Rob and Edward, also of Clinton, and Mrs. Lenon of New Orleans, La. The sisters are Mrs. Michael Murray and Mrs. John Coull of this city, and the brother, Dominic Gallagher of Morrison.
