The funeral of Seth S. Hobart will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home, 413 Second avenue. General N. B. Baker post of the Grand Army will have charge. Dr. M. J. Locke of the Methodist church will officiate.

Draped in the flag he fought to defend, the body of Seth S. Hobart, a veteran of the Civil war, was laid to rest at Springdale cemetery by his comrades of the Nathaniel Baker post Sunday afternoon. The pallbearers were Comrades Worrell, Dalrymple, Bartow Young, Harring, Cummings.
Rev. M. Locke, pastor of the First Methodist church preached the sermon at the home, 413 Second avenue.
The relatives from out of the city who were here are: Will Hobart, Chicago; Florence Murphy, Iowa State University, Iowa City; Lizzie Hobart, Port Byron.
