After an illness of several months, most of which was spent in the hospital Henry Kisting succumbed to his illness at 9:45 this morning. Deceased was born in Hanover, Germany, Sept. 21, 1859 and came to this country with his sister at the age of 15 years. Since that time he has made his home in this city and is survived by his wife, one son, Henry G. Kisting, Jr., a step daughter, Mrs. John Brandenberg and two sisters, Mrs. John Sino and Mrs. Peter Carpenter, both of this city.

Mr. Kisting was well known in this city, having been in the employ of the First National bank, as janitor for a number of years. He was prominent in lodge circles and was affiliated with the following organizations: Modern Woodmen, Pioneer Camp No. 1, of which he was Head Consul at the time of his death, Lyons lodge, No. 61, Odd Fellows, Encampment lodge, No. 21, Mississippi Valley Past Grands Association, Redwood camp, No. 695 R.N.A., German Dramatic association, Mutual Aid and Arbetter Verein.

Mr. Kisting has not been in the best of health for several years, but was active until about three months ago, when he was taken to the hospital for an operation. Some weeks ago he was removed to the home and was bedfast until the time of his death.

The funeral arrangements have not been made as yet and are pending the arrival of the son, Henry, from Fountain, Wyoming.

The funeral of the late Henry Kisting will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from his home on Pearl street. Burial will be made in Oakland cemetery.

Henry Kisting, Jr., son of the deceased is expected home from LaFountain, Wyo., tomorrow.

The Henry G. Kisting funeral was held this afternoon and burial was made in Oakland cemetery. The Lyons lodge No. 61, Odd Fellows, had charge of the burial service.
