Charles F. Overkamp, 86, 601 Highview Dr., died Thursday in Jane Lamb Hospital.

The Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Irenaeus Church with the Rev. Gustave Salutz, nephew of the deceased from Essexville, mich., officiating. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Pape Funeral Home today, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Salutz, Leo Salutz, Clinton Burkley, Orville Schneider, John Lanaghan and John Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Reddick and Edward Salutz.

Mr. Overkamp was born June 8, 1885, in Lyons, the son of John and Kate Schneider Overkamp. He married Florence Salutz, June 5, 1912, in Clinton. He was a member of St. Irenaeus Church, the Woodmen of the World and served as secretary for 52 years. He was a barber for 57 years on Main Ave., in Lyons.

Survivors include on son, R. C. Overkamp of Clinton; two daughters, Mrs. E. V. Williams of Clinton and Mrs. B. I. Green of Silver Springs, Md.; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife in April of 1969, one daughter, one brother and one sister.
