Services for Mrs. Katie Overkamp, 85, a Clinton resident for many years, who died at 6:55 a.m. Sunday will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Irenaeus Catholic church. The Rev. E. F. Jackson, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Oakland cemetery.

Mrs. Overkamp died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. H. (Clara) Horst, 243 Twenty-fifth Avenue North, following a lingering illness. The body is in the Pape funeral home where the United Commercial Travelers auxiliary will meet in a group at 7:30 o'clock tonight to pay respects. The Altar and Rosary society of St. Irenaeus church will recite a rosay in the funeral home at the same time and will attend the services Tuesday morning.

Katie Schneider was born June 22, 1861, in Galena, Ill., the daughter of Adam and Katharina Schneider. She attended parochial school and Our Lady of Angels academy. She was a member of St. Irenaeus church Altar and Rosary society and Palm camp 1350, Royal Neighbors of America.

Survivors besides Mrs. Horst are another daughter, Mrs. A. J. (Irma) Deltgen, a son Charles F. Overkamp and a brother Ernest Schneider all of Clinton, two sisters, Mrs. Louise Shuber, Clinton and Mrs. Julia Jaeger, Dubuque, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband John, April 14, 1913, and a son Henry Dec 23, 1943.
