Calamus, Ia., Nov. 23 -- The funeral of the late Mrs. Grant Brown was held from the M.E. church of Calamus last Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. White preached the sermon. She was laid to rest in Calamus cemetery and is survived by a husband and five children, Chester, May, Noble, Gay and Laura. The Ladies' Club No. 40, of which she was a member, was present in a body.
