Miss Mame Brown died this morning at 4 o'clock at her home in north DeWitt after being in failing health for several months. Deceased was born in DeWitt, May 26, 1863. She is survived by one brother, Horace Brown, of Ida Grove, and two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Hutson, of Low Moor, and Miss Myrtle, with whom she made her home. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

The funeral of the late Miss Mame Brown will be held Thursday afternoon, with services at the Congregational church. Interment will be made at Elmwood cemetery.

The funeral of Miss Mame Brown was held yesterday afternoon at the Congregational church and was conducted by Reverend R. K. Chapman. Many were present to pay their last tributes of respect. Floral offerings were profuse and beautiful. Appropriate musical selections were sung by Mrs. W. S. Saltmarsh. Those who acted as pall bearers were C. G. Jacobs, G. H. Christensen, Will and Fred Gostick, W. H. walker and John Yegge. The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood cemetery. Deceased is survived by one brother of Ida Grove, and two sisters, Miss Myrtle Brown of DeWitt and Mrs. Elmer Hutson of Low Moore.
