Mrs. Michael Hines passed away Sunday morning about nine o'clock. Deceased was aged ninety years. She is survived by three sons William Hines, of DeWitt, John Hines, living southwest of town and James Kennedy of Clinton.

The funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at nine o'clock in St. Joseph's church.

Mrs. Bridget Hines, mother of James Kennedy of Clinton, died suddenly Sunday while she was getting ready for church at her home in DeWitt. She was found unconscious, lying on the floor, by her granddaughter, who went to the house. Medical help was called, but Mrs. Hines had passed away.

She was born in Ireland 90 years ago. Her first husband was William Kennedy, and after his death she was married to William Hines, who died nine years ago. The other children are John and William Hines of DeWitt.

The funeral was held Tuesday at St. Joseph's church.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Bridget Hines was held Tuesday morning at St. Joseph's church. Rev. Father Nelson read requiem high mass, after which he delivered a sermon. Those who acted as bearers of the pall were M. T. Conwell, F. J. McGinnis, Patrick McDonald, R. B. Wolfe, M. F. Kelly and Thomas McGinty. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery. Deceased was born in Ireland in 1826 and was twice married, her first husband being William Kennedy. After his death she was married to Michael Hines who died about nine years ago. One son by her first marriage, James Kennedy of Clinton, survives as does her two sons by her second marriage, William Hines of DeWitt and John Hines of south of town and several grand children.
