page 1Mrs. J. G. Paschal, 524 Eleventh avenue, died Saturday evening at 8:30 as a result of congestion of the brain caused by the intense heat. Mrs. Paschal was taken sick Thursday night. The body will be taken to Morrison, Ill., Tuesday morning after a short funeral at the house in charge of the Rev. C. L. Nye of the First Methodist church.
Mrs. Paschal was born in Erie county, Pa., Feb. 12, 1847. She came to Clinton from Morrison, Ill., fifteen years ago.
Her husband, two sons, one daughter and one sister survive. They are Fred of Fulton, Claude of Clinton, Mrs. Jennie Switzer, Clinton; one sister of Clearfield and one of Kansas City, Mo.

page 3Funeral services for Mrs. J. G. Paschal, who died Sunday evening at her home, 428 Eleventh avenue, were held Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock, the Rev. Charles Lyman Nye officiating. The body was taken to Morrison for burial.
