DeWitt, Iowa, July 5--Mrs. Ernest Weller died Tuesday afternoon after about a week's illness. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the home of her son, William E. Weller, on East Sixth street. Interment will be made in Elmwood cemetery.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Ernest Weller was held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the William Weller home. Rev. Eschbach of Grand Mound had charge of the services. Those who acted as pall bearers were Jasper Howat, A. H. Wallace, W. H. Large, William Baldwin, Charles Muhs and Henry Wulf. Deceased was 75 years of age. She was born in Germany coming to this country when a girl. Since the death of her husband several years ago she has made her home with her children. She leaves to mourn her death two sons, William Weller of DeWitt, Gus Weller of Goose Lake and two daughters, Miss Pauline Weller of Clinton, Mrs. C. Petersen of Flandraeu, S.D.

A number of relatives from Clinton attended the funeral.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Ernest Weller was held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of her son William Weller. She was born in Schleswig, Holstein, Germany, Oct. 12, 1842, and was married to Ernest Weller in April, 1867, came to this city in 1870 and settled in Clinton county, where they resided ever since. To them were born five children, one dying in infancy. Those left to mourn her loss are her husband and four children, Gus of Goose Lake, Mrs. Chas. Petersen of Kimball, S.D.; Pauline of Clinton, and William of DeWitt, with whom she made her home for the past eight years.

Rev. Eschbach, of Grand Mound, had charge of the funeral services. Those who acted as pallbearers were Jasper Howat, A. H. Wallace, W. H. Large, William Baldwin, Charles Muhs and Henry Wulf.
