page 6Thomas B. Slater, a former resident of this city, died in Chicago June 18, and the remains will be brought to this city for burial, arriving on the 2:30 train Thursday afternoon. They will be accompanied by his nephew, Alvin B. Cook.
Thomas B. Slater was born in Toronto, Canada, on Feb. 27, 1862. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. William J. Moore and Mrs. D. B. Codeman, both of Chicago.
New Era Camp, W.O.W., will have charge of the funeral. Services will be held at the Borman undertaking parlors Thursday, June 22nd, at 2:30 o'clock, with burial in Oakland cemetery. Rev. N. A. McAulay will officiate.

page 6Funeral services for the late Thomas B. Slater, a former resident of this city, who died in Chicago and was brought here for burial, were held Thursday afternoon with New Era Camp, W.O.W., in charge of the service, which was held at the Borman undertaking parlors.
Rev. N. A. McAulay officiated and burial was in Oakland cemetery. The pallbearers were George Cook, Joe Bormann, Edward Kamer, Thomas Ashton, Theodore Overcamp and Walter Stuedemann.
The remains were accompanied here by Alvin B. Cook, a nephew of the deceased, of Chicago, and also two sisters of Chicago, Mrs. D. B. Codeman and Mrs. W. J. Moore.
