Russell Sorensen, aged 5 years, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Sorensen, died at 6 o'clock this morning at Agatha hospital after an operation for appendicitis.

The body will be taken to the home of the boy's parents on the Second avenue road and on Sunday will be brought to 237 First avenue from which place the funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

Burial will be made in Springdale cemetery.

Funeral services for the late Russel Sorenson were held yesterday afternoon from 237 First avenue, and were largely attended. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. Rev. Gotke of the Danish Lutheran church conducted the services, and burial was made in Springdale cemetery. The pall bearers were Howard Jackson, Ernest Petersen, Franz Johansen and John Houilhan.
