Mrs. Harriet Reisinger of Camanche passed away at the University Hospital at Iowa City last Sunday afternoon, May 21, at 5 p.m., she having gone there for treatment about three weeks ago.

Harriet Fidelia Simpson was born in Davenport, Ia., July 7, 1849, being 66 years, 10 months and 14 days old at the time of her death, she being of a family of seven children, all preceding her but one sister.

She was united in marriage with Peter Reisinger in Innland, Iowa, on Nov. 11, 1875. Six children were born to them. About ten years ago Mr. and Mrs. Reisinger came to Camanche, where they have since made their home. She leaves to mourn her loss, besides her husband, six children: Guy H. Reisinger of Minnesota, Edith E. Waldron of Clinton, Benjamin F. Reisinger and Daisy M. Groat and Charles H. Reisinger and Ruby Bickford of Camanche; also eleven grandchildren.

The funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. Steele conducting the services. Mrs. Hogg and Mrs. Cady did the singing. Interment was made at Rose Hill cemetery. The pallbearers were Harry Padgett, James Platt, William Scollen, O. W. Miller, C. E. Roscoe and Roy Tallman.
