Mrs. Irene Roff, nee Powell, passed away on May 4th at Sioux Falls, S.D., death following an operation. The remains reached Clinton Sunday night and were taken to the Estabrook undertaking establishment on Second street. The funeral will be held from the chapel there at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon.

The deceased was about 38 years of age, and spent most of her early life in Clinton. She removed to Sioux Falls with her husband about fifteen years ago. Surviving Mrs. Roff are her husband, one son, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Ellinwood, of Chicago, two brothers and one sister. Mrs. Ellinwood accompanied the remains from Sioux Falls and Mr. Ellinwood and his son reached Clinton from Chicago today, to attend the funeral this afternoon. Mrs. Roff had hundreds of friends in Clinton who mourn her untimely death.
