Mrs. Mary Rehwoldt, a former resident of Clinton, passed away in Kansas City Tuesday, and the remains reached Clinton this morning. The funeral was held at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the Rockwell undertaking establishment on Second street, with interment in Oakland cemetery, north of Lyons.

Mrs. Rehwoldt, nee Miss Mary Stevens, was the widow of Charles Rehwoldt, a music professor. She spent about 40 years of her life in Clinton, removing to Kansas City some 19 years ago. Mrs. Rehwoldt was stricken with apoplexy a couple of months ago, while in Los Angeles, Cal., and her daughter, Mrs. L. J. Bennett went to California and brought her back to Kansas City. She lingered until yesterday, when she passed away.

Her two daughters, Mrs. Bennett of Kansas City and Mrs. Wilson French of Harrisonville, Mo., with their husbands and families, accompanied the body to Clinton, reaching here this morning.
