The remains of Mrs. Caroline Nixon, who died in Charlotte, were brought to this city last night and taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herman Wielage, on South Sixth street, from which place the funeral was held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The services were conducted by Rev. F. H. Burrell, pastor of St. John's Episcopal church of Clinton. Interment was made in Oakland cemetery. The pall bearers were Edward Kamer, John McDonald, Howard Mayer, Joseph Ritter, Charles Upton and Herman Rebelsky.
