Charles M. Walbridge passed away Saturday evening at 6:15 o'clock at the home of his sister, Mrs. Lucy Pearson, 506 Oak street, after suffering for the past year with tuberculosis. The body will be removed Tuesday morning at 11:30 o'clock to DeWitt and the funeral services will be held in the Methodist church of that city. Interment will take place in the family lot in the DeWitt cemetery.
Mr. Walbridge was born in DeWitt and if he had lived until Monday he would have been fifty years of age. He moved to Davenport and resided there for a number of years and moved to Clinton about fifteen years ago and had been a resident of this city ever since. He leaves to mourn his death three sisters: Mrs. Emma Paulsen of Ames, Mrs. James Mudgett of Marion and Mrs. Lucy Pearson of Clinton and one nephew, Charles Walbridge of Clinton.
