Rufus A. Traver passed away at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at the residence, 422 First avenue. No arrangements have been made as yet in regard to funeral services. Mr. Traver was born November 6, 1831 in Rhineback, N. Y., and in 1856 he moved west to Iowa and settled on a farm near Elvira. In 1897, he retired and moved to Clinton, where he had resided until the time of his death. His wife preceded him in death two years ago last February and there is left to mourn his death two daughters, Mrs. N. T. Allen of New York City and Mrs. W. H. Hill of Low Moor, three sons, W. R. and R. L. Traver of Clinton and C. B. Traver of Chicago and one brother, Robert Traver of Guthrie Okla.
