Mrs. Catherine Springer, a resident of Lyons for over 40 years, died suddenly of heart failure at her home here at 7:30 last night.

Mrs. Springer was 78 years old, having been born in Austria and coming to this country when 37 years old. Shortly after her arrival in America she moved to Lyons, where she has made her residence ever since. Surviving are her husband and one son, Peter Springer, residing in South Dakota.

The funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Boniface church. Burial will be in St. Boniface cemetery.

The remains of the late Mrs. Catherine Springer were interred in St. Boniface cemetery this morning. Services were conducted at St. Boniface church at nine o'clock by Rev. J. M. Tritz.

The pall bearers were Matt Jepson, Theo. Schroer, Anton Wilden, Rhinehart Zimmerman, Bernard Feldman and John Tancik.
