Anna Lampe, nee Thomas, born in Germany on September 5th, 1858, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. Wheelen in Lyons, yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock, after a long illness.

Mrs. Lampe moved to Clinton county in 1874 and was married here to Fred Lampe a short time later, her husband dying in 1908. Eight children were born to this union one dying at the age of 5 years. Surviving her are: Mrs. Lena Sievers of Lyons; Mrs. Christine Wheelen of Clinton; Mrs. A. W. Wheelon of Lyons, and Henry, Peter, William and Herman Lampe of Lyons.

The funeral will be held from the home 3 miles northwest of Lyons at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in charge of Reverend Grimm. Burial will be in Dierks cemetery.
