Mrs. J. H. Churcher, an old and esteemed resident of Clinton, passed away at midnight at her home 880 Camanche avenue, aged 79 years.

Mrs. Churcher, nee Miss Susanna McKinnah, was born in London. When a girl she came to the United States, and after residing in New York for a few years, came to Clinton. This was in the early '60s. She was united in marriage shortly afterwards to Mr. Churcher, who passed away seven years ago. Surviving her are one daughter, Mrs. Wasem of this city, a niece in Brooklyn, two grandchildren living here, and two grand nieces, Mrs. F. C. Dannatt of Low Moor and Mrs. Joselyn of Clinton.

Mrs. Churcher's death will be mourned by many friends in Clinton. She had lived a quiet Christian life which was devoted to her home and family.
