Timothy Conway aged about 70 years died at 8:45 o'clock this morning at his home on Commercial street, after a brief illness.
The deceased was taken ill about two weeks ago, with pleurisy and asthma.
Mr. Conway was born in County Limerick, Ireland. For the past fifty years he has been living either in Lyons or Clinton. The news of his death will be received with regret by a large number of friends, as he was well and favorably known.
He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Miss Elizabeth Conway, and one sister, living in Cedar Rapids. Mr. and Mrs. Conway would have celebrated their fortieth wedding anniversary next Monday, having been married in St. Mary's church in Clinton forty years ago.
The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Irenaeus church with requiem high mass by Rev. James Comerford.

The funeral of the late Timothy Conway was held at nine o'clock this morning from St. Irenaeus church and burial was in Calvary cemetery. The pall bearers were T. J. Hudson, James Hand, John Dever, James McAuliff, John McDonnell and Charles C. Malley.
