Mrs. Barbara Durler Baer passed away Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Irving Burgh in Rock Island, after a two weeks' illness. Deceased was born in Switzerland Nov. 13, 1834, and was united in marriage to Jacob Baer in 1857, moving to Clinton in 1869, where she and her husband were pioneer residents.
In 1907 they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in this city. Mr. Baer preceded Mrs. Baer in death in 1913, and in 1918 Mrs. Baer moved to Rock Island. Besides her daughter, with whom she had been living, Mrs. Baer is survived by a son, Charles G. Baer of this city, also 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The remains will be brought to the city and funeral services will be held on Friday from the Evangelical church with burial in Springdale cemetery.

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Barbara Durler Baer, who died at the home of her daughter in Rock Island Wednesday morning were held this afternoon. The remains were brought to this city and services were held at the Evangelical church. Burial was made in Springdale cemetery.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Barbara Durler Baer was held on Friday afternoon with services at the Evangelical church. Burial was made in Springdale cemetery.
Pallbearers for the deceased were: John Jurgensen, Carl Leutke, Adam Domsalla, John Kubler, Wm. Hendes and Chris Thoms.
